We’re Pete & Kirsten (aka Cooper & Amity)

Six years on the road, thirty-eight countries, with various suitcases we’ve packed and unpacked more times than we can count. We travel slowly because slow is the only way to actually see a place, one month in a village until you know which roaster makes the good coffee, three months in a city until the map in your head starts to match the streets. Romantic Roads is where we put the pieces of the life we’ve built moving: house sits, night buses, borrowed kitchens, the specific loneliness of a Tuesday in a place with a language you don’t quite speak, the specific joy of a Wednesday in one you’ve started to.
